The Ténéré 700 Extreme features high
speci cation long-travel KYB front forks
giving 230 mm of wheel travel (20 mm more
than the Ténéré 700) that can handle the
toughest o -road terrain. A durable
Kashima coating on the tubes ensures
smooth suspension action – and with full
adjustability for preload and
compression/rebound damping, this tough
o roader can be set up to perfectly match
your riding style on any terrain.
KYB piggyback rear shock
absorber
Ténéré 700 Extreme is equipped with a long
stroke KYB rear shock that gives 220 mm of
rear wheel travel – 20 mm more than the
Ténéré 700. The race developed fully
adjustable Monocross rear suspension is
tted with a newly developed linkage that
gives more progressive suspension action for
improved handling performance in extreme
o -road terrain.
3-theme connected 5-inch TFT
meter
The 5-inch TFT meter o ers three screen styles
to suit di erent situations. “Explorer”
features a dynamic digital stye, while “Street”
gives an analogue-type speedometer format.
The “Raid” theme features a roadbook inspired
design with a focus on trip distances. With
Yamaha’s free MyRide app you can stay
connected and see text and call noti cations
on the screen.
Flat one-piece rally seat
When you’re riding o road you need to be
able to shift weight easily for optimum
controllability. With its atter pro le and
extra 20 mm of padding, the Ténéré 700
Extreme’s one-piece seat provides added
comfort together with improved mobility on
the highway and in the dirt.
High level enduro-style front
fender
The Ténéré 700 Extreme comes equipped
with a high level front fender designed to
handle the most extreme o -road
conditions. Its lightweight design helps to
protect you from surface debris, while a
secondary low level half-fender helps de ect
dirt and spray away from the bike.
Lightweight titanium footrests
For increased levels of grip in muddy or wet
conditions, the Ténéré 700 Extreme’s special
equipment includes lightweight titanium
footrests. 200g lighter and with a 35% larger
surface area than the standard design, these
competition-style footrests reduce pressure on
your boot soles – especially when you’re
standing up – giving enhanced controllability
thanks to the larger contact area.
